Vodafone Idea brings down minimum recharge plan to Rs 20

Why RS 20?

Vodafone and Idea are bringing back their old Rs 20 plan for all the prepaid users out there who love to talk to their friends and other family members on voice calls. This new Rs 20 plan would be coming with a 28 days validity. Vodafone idea is reducing the price of the minimum recharge plan as a simple mean to avoid all the Vodafone subscribers jumping from one shop to the other service providers who provide it at a cheaper rate. This recent news is back almost after a year the operators started leaving their charges on incoming call and an SMS that are not recharged regularly.

The latest change in Vodafone Idea minimum recharge plan means that all the users will have to recharge for Rs 20 instead of Rs 35 to avoid deactivation of their sim card for all types of calls including incoming and outgoing. But there is a simple difference between the Rs 35 and the RS 20 recharge plans.  The Rs 35 pack used in Vodafone Idea had a validity of 30 days whereas the Rs 20 plan has a validity of 28 days.

All the Telecom operators operating in India are introducing new recharge plans almost every day so to keep up with the competition with their rivals. Following this trend, Vodafone is also doing the same. According to a recent report, Vodafone and Idea have decided to reintroduce their Rs 20 plan for all the users who have to talk over voice calls. To recollect a few years ago Vodafone had stopped the Rs 20 prepaid plan and instead had introduced a new Rs 24 and Rs 35 prepaid recharge plan for all the prepaid users. But to keep up with the competition Vodafone has reintroduced its earlier plan. This reintroduced version of the Rs 20 prepaid plan is slightly different from the earlier one. This new plan comes with an extended validity when compared to the old Rs 20 plan. This new Rs 20 prepaid plan would be coming with the validity of 28 days from the day of recharge. The re-introduction of the Rs 20 plan was first reported by the Telecom talk. it is also reported that this new Rs 20 Vodafone plan would currently be available only in selected areas and cities only.

The Rs 20 plan is a simple Talktime plan only. This means that the Vodafone users who would be recharging or opting for this plan will not be able to access the internet or sent text from the balance. This Rs 20 Vodafone plan is a good option for all the users who want to extend their incoming call facility after their base plan or the monthly plan expires.

Some Other Plans

In addition to the Rs 20 prepaid plan, Vodafone is also offering rupees 10 rupees 50 and rupees hundred Talktime plans to all the prepaid Vodafone users. There are also some other plans. Under the Rs 10 plan, the user will be getting a Talktime of rupees 7.47 while the Rs 50 plan will award the user with a Talktime of rupees 39.37. in comparison to all the plans, the Rs 100 Talktime plan will be offering the full Talktime of rupees 100 to all the users. But you should also know that they are Rs 10, Rs 50 and Rs 100 Talktime plans do not come with a validity unlike the reintroduced Rs 20 plan.

As mentioned earlier, Rs 24 plan will also be there in the scene. This plan will be available for all the Vodafone as well as the Idea cellular users of India. You must know that the Rs 24 plan will not be bringing any Talktime, message or internet benefits to the user. This plan simply helps users who want to extend their account validity. The Rs 24 plan also comes with the validity of 28 days.
