Clean The Console
The dirtiness of the console can be one of the causes of Xbox turning on automatically. The user must clean the console through wiping near the Xbox power toggle. There is no physical button to switch on or off the Xbox. The Xbox can be turned on or off through the power toggle logo.
Kinect Problem
Kinect can be another problem that leads to the switching on or off the Xbox automatically. This occurs because Kinect detects the movement of words and it can put on the Xbox. TV Brand is another problem as some televisions like those belong to Samsung can switch on the Xbox automatically when the television is switched on. Putting the HDMI-CEC option off can resolve this problem.

There are chances when users do not update the Xbox with regular updates. Users should find if any update has come and they should install them to get rid of the problem of automatic on and off.
Plug The Xbox To The Main Socket
If these solutions do not work then change the power outlet. If a user has plugged the Xbox to a power extension, then he can plug it to the main socket to resolve the problem.
Reboot The Xbox
