Outgoing SMS Error On BSNL Sim- Check Reasons

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited(BSNL) is a telecommunication service provider and an enterprise of the Government of India. It is headquartered in New Delhi. BSNL has been around for a long time. If you are a BSNL user and are not being able to send messages, then the following may be one of the reasons:

Reasons For Outgoing SMS Error:

• New Sim: If you have a new sim, then the SMS services might take up to 24 hours.
• MNP: If you have recently lost your phone or upgraded your sim from 3G to 4G and had to get a Mobile Number Portability (MNP) done, you need to wait for a total of 24 hours before the SMS services start.
• Wrong BSNL SMS Center Number: If the outgoing services on your phone have stopped working the mobile settings need to be checked. Go to Mobile Setting → Message Centre Number and check the BSNL SMS center number state-wise. If the number s wrong update the correct number.

• Another reason for the outgoing SMS services not working might be that you have not sent any SMS from this number for the last 6 months. Therefore, BSNL may have deactivated the outgoing services on your number.

• To fix this you can contact the customer care services of BSNL. The toll-free number for BSNL customer care number is 1800-180-1503. You can also dial 198 and address this issue to customer care and the SMS services will be restored on your phone.
