  5. From the menu bar, select Action.
  6. From the submenu, press on Update driver/ Update Driver Software.
  7. For the updated driver software, choose the option Search Automatically.
  8. After completion of the process, reboot the device.

Method 2: Manually Uninstall The Device Causing Trouble

  1. Go to My Computer (This PC icon) present on the desktop of the device.
  2. Select the Manage option from the menu.
  3. Go to Computer Management (local) option and choose Manage.
  4. Press on the Device Manager option.
  5. From the menu present in the right panel, select the device with the error.
  6. Select the option to Uninstall the device option by right-clicking on the specific device.
  7. Press on the Uninstall option.
  8. Select Yes in the System Settings Change window.
  9. This will restart the device.
  10. From the menu bar, select Action.
  11. Press on the Scan button for changes in the hardware.
  12. Visit the official website of the device and download all the required drivers.
  13. After installing the new drivers, reboot the device.

Method 3: Manually Modify The Registry Editor

  1. For safety measures, a backup of the registry should be created and it can be done by following the steps given below:
  2. Go to the Menu bar.
  3. Select the Export option.
  4. Under the Export range option, check for All.
  5. Save the backup with a name. You can choose the storage location by yourself.
  6. Press the Save button.
  7. If the error is occurring due to some issues in the USB device, then the Upper and Lower Filters in the registry need to be deleted.
  8. Press Windows+R. This will open the Run Command.
  9. Type Regedit in the Run command.
  10. Press the Enter key.
  11. Navigate to and expand the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, Control, Class, and System.
  12. Then enter {36fc9e60-c465-11cf-8056-444553540000}.
  13. The UpperFilters option can be found in the right pane. Select it.
  14. Then press the Delete button.
  15. Click the OK button.
  16. Now for deleting the LowerFilters, go to the right pane again.
  17. Press on the Delete button.
  18. Press the OK button.
  19. Close the window.
  20. Reboot the device.

Method 4: Hardware Troubleshoot

  1. Press on the Start menu.
  2. Search for the troubleshoot option.
  3. Select the Troubleshooting option.
  4. To open the Troubleshooting option, click on View All. it is available on the left panel.
  5. Press on the option “Hardware and Devices Troubleshooting.”
  6. Start the process by pressing the Next button.
