Part 1: Get Fastboot and ADB driver

  • Step 3: Select the option of ‘path’ present under the section of ‘System variables’.
  • Step 4: Select the ‘Edit’ button.
  • Step 5: Add platform-tools folder path by:

1: If you have Windows 10, select the ‘New’ button and then copy the platform-tools folder path.

2 : On any other Windows, platform-tools folder path after adding the present paths. The semicolon has separated the paths, therefore, ensuring the presence of semicolons before and after the platform-tools folder path.

  • Step 6: Enter ‘Ok’, again hit ‘Ok’, and then again press ‘Ok’ to exit.
  • Step 7: Now open the PowerShell or Command window and enter adb and press ‘Enter’. A list of ADB commands is displayed which means ADB is properly functioning everywhere on Windows of your computer. For Fastboot, follow the same steps as mentioned above.
