Yellow Messenger chatbot platform has raised $20 million in Series B funding by Lightspeed Venture Partners & Lightspeed India Partners.

“The company mentioned they are going to use this fund to fuel international growth in “United States, Europe, Latin America, and the Asia-Pacific” and product innovation including deepening multilingual voice bot capabilities, expanding enterprise integrations, and launching a developer marketplace for virtual assistants ”

According to Raghu Ravinutala Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Co-Founder of Yellow Messenger “We’ve seen huge  demand for our conversational AI platform since the very beginning, achieving 5X growth in bookings, year over year, since 2017”

Yellow Messenger claims that their chatbot assistant platform is powering 30 million monthly conversations

for more than 100 customers across the world in which some of the major companies are Accenture, Bajaj Finance, Byju’s, Dominos India, Flipkart, Grab, MG Motors, Royal Enfield, Spencer’s Retail, Tata AIG, and Xiaomi India.

“Company also mentioned that has also forged deep go-to-market partnerships with Microsoft, TCS, WhatsApp, Facebook among others”

For tackling coronavirus pandemic company has done tie-up with Facebook to provide its chatbot technology to some state governments in India.

According to Crunchbase Yellow Messenger has raised a total amount of $24 million funding till now, Lightspeed India Partners previously leading a $4 million Series A investment in 2019.
