Uber, Ola, Suspend Shared Ride Services in India

Cab Service company Ola and Uber have currently suspended pool ride services in India , this decision came after authorities has requested for social distancing to contain coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak.

“According to Uber spokesperson to reduce the spread of coronavirus in the cities, company has decided to suspend the uber pool services across india, but other cab service will be working to meet the urgent travel needs”.

Same decision came from Ola spokesperson said on this friday, the companies has decided to suspend its shared cab option, but other Ola services offering like “Micro, Mini, and Prime as well as Rental and Outstation services”  will be working as normal.

Prime of India Narendra Modi had also , announced a ‘Janata Curfew’ from 7 am to 9 pm Sunday, 22 March, to stop the spread of coronavirus ((Covid-19) outbreak.
